Meet our Chef

Jose Ventura was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. As an adult, he worked for the prestigious newspaper Listin Diario as a Graphic Arts professional. Jose started cooking as a hobby in order to host his families and friends over the weekends. Motivated by many lavish compliments, he continued developing his passion and skill for cooking.
After immigrating to the USA, Jose was given the opportunity to work in a Latino restaurant in NY. He later started working for an Italian restaurant, where received extensive training on Italian cuisine.

For the last 20 years, Jose has worked in many international establishments, including Mediterranean, Italian, Spanish, American, and Latin American restaurants. He is an autodidact in the realm of culinary arts. In 2004, Jose won an award at the Gastronomic Festival of Tampa. Famous singers and baseball players have enjoyed his cooking and now you can too at FAITH LATIN CUISINE
